Scatter Joy

This card is for the Pink and Green Challenge on My Adventures in Stamping. Pink and green is such a beautiful color combination. I just had to take part in this challenge. The only thing unusual about my card is the green textured paper. It is shimmery in person. I used Twinkling H2O's to color wash watercolor paper. The texture comes from running it through my cuttlebug using the Tiny Mosaics embossong folder. Also, the pink paper under the flower image is a textured paper, which you can't see unless you enlarge the photo. I used SCS Card Sketch 144.
Supplies:
Stamps: Unknown - the flower image is another one from a friend
Paper: Light pink & dark brown - Bazzill
Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaics embossing folder, Twinkling H2O's, Rhinestones

The weather here has been just perfect lately. Around 80* with a gentle breeze. This is a picture I took from my porch swing while I was sitting out there being seranaded by a mockingbird. That gorgeous blue sky is one of my favorite things about Florida. That is a typical Florida sky, even during the winter. Isn't it beautiful?

The other night Mark grilled hamburgers out on the back porch. Later on the dogs and I heard something out on the porch. By the time I turned the outdoor light on and looked out the window our mystery visitor was gone. Whatever it was must have been pretty good sized, because it knocked a heavy plant pot off of the porch ledge and broke it. Princess sniffs all over the areas the mystery visitor touched each time she goes outside. It could have been anything from a stray cat to a raccoon. We've even had bob cats and a Florida panther out back before, but I don't think they would come up on the porch.

Blessings
  • A husband who does the shopping for me
  • Someone gave us some dried cherries. I was raised in cherry country and love cherries.
  • The dog's fence. It has improved all of our lives, both human and canine. : )
Have a magnificent day!!!
Inkyhugs!

Beautiful card Shelly. Looks like spring is coming. Soon we will be able to get outside more. :). I sure hope that whatever was on your porch is not something dangerous.
