A sweet heart!

Hello friends.  I hope you are having a great weekend.  It's another beautiful, sunny and warm day here in Florida.  These aren't the colors I had planned to use when I made this card, but I'm glad I changed my mind and did something a bit different.  The digital image is a beautiful freebie from Sugar Creek Hollow.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, chalks and my clear Stardust pen.  If you look closely you can see that I embellished the heart with approx. 63 tiny pearls and one of the beautiful pearl stick pins, which my sister sent me. I added a dragonfly punch and Prima flowers to the card itself.

Do you have any pets?

I have a sweet, little Maltese/Yorkie mix dog named Princess, who was a gift from my sister.  My nieces named her Princess and she has lived up to her name.  The household pretty much revolves around her. lol  Most days I watch my grand-dog, Caesar, who is a darling little Lhasa Apso.  They are great company for me.

My laptop, my blanket, the phone.

What's the weather like right now?

Sunny and warm!!!

Have you ever been in a car crash?

Yes, it lead to my becoming disabled.

What time did you wake up this morning?
6:00a.m. because I forgot to turn the weekday alarm off.  Silly me!  But, after convincing the dog that we weren't getting up, I went back to sleep. :)

What was the last movie you saw?

Letters to Juliette.  It was so-so.  I'm glad it was only from the $1 rental box. lol

What does your last text message say?

I don't text.

Have you ever been to a different country?

Yes, I've been to Canada a number of times. It's beautiful!

Haven't tried it.

Publix and Walmart

Glasses - can't wear contacts.

I'm not sure.  It was when we watched something touching on tv.

I can't eat pizza due to food allergies, but I like black olives on it.

Which do you prefer - hamburgers or cheeseburgers?

I have an occasional turkey burger - no cheese.

 

Have you ever had an all-nighter?

Sometimes I'll stay up most of the night laughing and talking with my daughter. :)

What is your eye color?

Hazel. The eye Dr. says I have a perfect ring each of green, blue and brown, but they look green.

Can you taste the difference between (diet) Pepsi and Coke?

Definitely!!! Diet Coke tastes best. :)

• The first rose of the season bloomed on my hubby's rose bushes. Beautiful!
• We watched the space shuttle launch safely the other day.  A plane load of sky divers jumped at the time of the launch, so that they could watch it from the air.  Wouldn't that be amazing? We had quite a show with the space shuttle and the sky divers. :)
